The pair has stared in a Toyota commercial and had lots of appearances and Nike gave Michael J. Fox the first pair of 2015 Nike Mag power-lacing sneakers.
Fox today released a video of himself wearing the futuristic shoes, which were one of many predictions about the future made in the time-travel movie.
According to ABC, Nike had filed a patent for a “power lace” this year and in 2009 a patent for “Automatic Lacing System”.
A similar deal will be offered in spring 2016 in a limited run via auction. “Oh, yeah that sound. Yeah, that’s cool”, he says.
Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when he was 29 years old, and at the time, doctors said his prognosis wasn’t great.
Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunited on the ABC late-night show in honor of the fact that their characters traveled from 1985 to October. 21, 2015 in part two of the hit film franchise.
