Aamir Khan Shoots At Punjab’s Oldest School For ‘Dangal’
Presently, Aamir is busy filming Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Dangal, ‘ wherein he will be seen playing the role of a legendary wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat in the movie.
Aamir Khan has been shooting in a village in Ludhiana for his upcoming next, Dangal. A source in the know reveals, “The film is said to be based on the current tax system, which might remind one of Lagaan that was also based on a similar theme”.
The school is called The Government Senior Secondary School in Gujjarwal which was established in 1857.
Aamir was thrilled to have shot in the school.
Mid-day quoted a source as saying, “Aamir is planning a sequel and has also met a few people for collaboration”.
Incidentally, the 50-yearold actor also shot in Dango, another village in the Ludhiana district, which also happens to be veteran actor Dharmendra’s ancestral village.
Reports also state that Aamir Khan has told Dharmendra, that, once the film is ready, he would organize for a special screening for him.
