Tip a Cop at Red Robin on Saturday

The Reno Police Department is excited to serve with our community and have our community meet with our officers while raising donations for Northern Nevada Special Olympic Athletes.

All of the tips collected during the event will be donated to Special Olympics.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the single largest grassroots fundraising effort for Special Olympics worldwide. Members of the Gaines family are (from left) Bob, daughter Kara, 18, a Special Olympics basketball athlete, and mother Kathy, all of Newcastle.

“It is awesome to work with all of our local officers from all of these different departments, and they never say no”, Special Olympics Indianhead Region Director of Development Karen Kraus said.

Officers will be assisting the staff at the Red Robin restaurant in Beaverton by serving food and taking care of customers. Come to Red Robin located at 625 SW Powerhouse Drive to have a gourmet burger, salad or another great entrée.
