WWE 2K16 Universe Mode Gets New Info
With WWE 2K16 right around the corner, it’s been somewhat surprising that announcements haven’t been made about the game’s Universe mode – until today that is. This will work for players’ faces, which can then be used on a created superstar or diva, as well as custom logos, which can be used for created arenas, shows and championships.
Performers who were large in the ring, and even bigger outside of it. And having a personality, is the key to success in WWE 2K16 it seems.
That results in more variety in storylines with WWE 2K saying that characters could be hit with up to 10 different possibilities between pay per views – something that should make things all the more interesting in the game. More details and screenshots of the new creation suite for the mobile version of the game are also available HERE. Meters display opposing traits like loyal vs. treacherous, respectful vs. disrespectful, and discipline vs. aggression. By default, these sliders are tuned to align with Superstars’ traits shown on WWE programming. Guess which trait Brock Lesnar would have?
Status effects are also here and injuries can occur too. Wrestlers can still compete through injuries, although they will be out of commission if it gets severe. A new screen pops up after a rivalry match finishes. Previously, players would have to dig through menus to gather this information and this cuts that down significantly. 2K has also revealed that the next sequel will come out at a later date and this is due to the tons of new features that are coming to WWE 2K16.
Developed collaboratively by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio, WWE 2K16 is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and is in development for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
