Demi Lovato Has A Reason To Be ‘Confident’

Discussing her very personal track ‘Father, ‘ which appears on her new album, ‘Confident, ‘ the brunette beauty said: “I was very conflicted when he passed because he was abusive”.

It’s a responsibility for me to hold myself accountable but also be that inspiration for young girls and women my own age”. “I wanted to write about it; I wanted to process it”, she explained.

The news comes as Demi Lovato reportedly ditched Adam Lambert for Nick Jonas ahead of her upcoming world tour. With lyrics such as, “I won’t back down, knuckles out, guard in my mouth”, it seems as if the singer really is ready to battle it out with anyone who would attempt to bring her down.

Sporting a leather jacket with the word “confident” emblazoned on the back, the video’s sole focus is on the empowered singer herself as she lets her song do the talking. She believed that however different or not ideal her relationship may be with her dad, he was still her father.
