The irony is that the iPhone 6/6s models according to a few is influenced by the HTC One (M8), which was launched back in 2014. But let’s take a look at what customers will receive for these sums. HTC appears to have borrowed various signature elements from its previous smartphones, particularly the M7, to develop the One A9’s full-metal unibody design. It’s still debated whether Apple copied the HTC design or HTC copied the iPhone, but it is certain that they are quite similar.
The internal specs, while mid-range, look good enough to handle most smartphone apps easily. Also, there is dual finish on top of the built that comes in Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet color options. You’ll find a 5-inch edge-to-edge Full HD AMOLED display that’s covered in Gorilla Glass 4.
As mentioned, the One A9 will be available initially in two colours with another two arriving later this year in the UK.
It also packs a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, Andreno 405 GPU, a 13 mega-pixel camera.
This phone comes with an unlocked bootloader without voiding the device’s warranty. The standard model will come with 2 GB of RAM, but the phone can be purchased with 3 GB. There’s also a 4-megapixel front-facing camera and it ships with up to 32GB of storage that can be expanded to 2TB with a microSD card. The camera also offers supports for RAW photos.
The HTC One A9 seems to be a well-endowed package that heralds with promising features. Built-in DAC converts 16-bit audio to 24-bit high-resolution sound for richness and depth that you have never heard from a smartphone. The battery of the HTC One A9 isn’t exactly impressive though.

HTC doesn’t want you to wait long for the joy of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on a smartphone, and has revealed the One A9, a long-rumored new device that combines the latest version of Google’s OS with a striking (but familiar) design.
The brand believes that this offers a decent compromise between price and performance, and combined with the newest version of Android it can deliver a new experience. The smartphone is expected to go on sale worldwide at retailers and at HTC.com starting early November.
