Acworth police arrest man in Amber Alert case

Police are looking for Paige Janet Johnstone.

Acworth police have arrested a man in connection to an Amber Alert case out of Iowa.

On October 24th, 2015 at approximately 1746 hours the Acworth Police Department was contacted by the Ottumwa, Iowa Police Department in reference to an Amber Alert.

The Iowa Department of Transportation tweeted that the girl and the suspect were located in Georgia. They were last seen driving in a 2001 Nissan Frontier.

The Newton Daily News will bring more information as it becomes available. She is believed to be with 19 year old Kevin Toala Ramirez.

Investigators believe her suspected abductor is headed to Fort Pierce, Florida.

“She’s 5’4”, weighs 170 pounds, and has black hair and hazel eyes.
