CLIP: New Episodes of “Avengers Assemble” and “Ultimate Spider-Man: Web”

Spider-Man/Deadpool #1 will arrive later this year. The game will also adapt the critically acclaimed “Spider-Island” event as part of the storyline while adding environments based on the event.

Two of the most colorful characters in the Marvel Universe are teaming up to create a new series that will launch later this fall.

Joe Kelly is the man responsible for all 33 issues of the Deadpool comics, but he had his fair share of Spider-Man projects, making him the perfect writer for the Spider-Man / Deadpool crossover comics.

Marvel Studios and Sony Entertainment have formally buried the persistent rumors about the “The wonderful Spider-Man 3” by officially casting Tom Holland to take on the role of Peter Parker and the web-slinging superhero for the “Spider-Man” movie reboot which will hit theaters on July 28, 2017. And despite some good elements (Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone’s acting), after its release the studio decided The Amazing Spider-Man 2 contained too much of the not-good stuff (e.g. those nagging “plot” and “story” aspects) and put the franchise on hold.

While serving as a throwback to the 2011 event, the “Spider-Island” update can also be seen as an introduction to the storyline for those planning to pick up the new “Spider-Island” mini-series that is tied with “Secret Wars”, as reported by Whatever a Spider Can. It happens all the time in the comics, and as I’ve said many times before, Spider-Man belongs on screen. Will we be getting another version of the Spider-Man origin? The game is a free download for those who haven’t had the opportunity to play it yet.

It looks awesome. I’ve seen a lot of design work that’s been done on the costume.
