Telugu actor Mada Venkateswara Rao passes away
Senior actor Mada Venkateshwara Rao breathed his last today (Oct 24) after battling with lung problem for days. He was dead due to illness. Sources close to the actor has also revealed that, the actor was undergoing treatment in Apollo hospital. May his soul rest in peace.
Before making a career in film industry, Mada worked as an engineer in the State electricity department.
Born in 1950, Mr Rao shot to fame with his role as a eunuch in film Chillara Kottu Chittemma directed by Dasari Narayana Rao in 1977.
He has acted in several films including Mutyala Muggu, Chillarakottu Chittemma, Lambadolla Ramdasu, Mayadari Malligadu, Mutyala Muggu, Siviah and others. He gave many memorable performances between 70’s to 80’s. He went on to act for three decades in the Telugu Film Industry. Telugu cinema has lost a great comedian and an actor.
