Apple Shares New iPhone 6s Ads Focused on Cameras and ‘Hey Siri’
The two new iPhone 6S ads released by Apple feature Jamie Foxx showing off the company’s Siri virtual personal assistant; while the one-minute commercial features a brief sequence starring Golden State Warriors cager Steph Curry, the 2015 National Basketball Association MVP and two-time National Basketball Association All-Star.
The next two ads, like the aforementioned 3D Touch ad, feature Jamie Foxx.
Add National Basketball Association champion Stephen Curry to the list of celebrities joining the Apple endorsement team. The Camera, The Crush, and The Flip-A-Coin promos are all part of Apple’s promotional campaign to offer the audience a clear insight into Siri and improved camera features of the iPhone 6s. Because now you just say “Hey Siri” and Siri’s there, hands-free.
The new star-driven series of commercials not only helps Apple tout its latest mobile wares, but also reminds competitors that the company is still on top, and has the celebrity support to prove it. The Camera: The iPhone 6s is here and the only thing that’s changed with camera is everything. The Camera promo showcases the phone’s distinct 4K recording capabilities, Retina Flash, along with its HD Slo-Mo video features and the ability to conveniently share, locate, and store photos. They allow the audience to understand the complex functionality of Siri. As we’ve detailed previously, the iPhone 6s’ new M9 motion coprocessor lets users activate Siri even when the device isn’t plugged in and charging. “Sci-fi western it is”, Foxx concludes.
Apple has released almost three dozen ads for the iPhone 6s and Apple Watch over the past few weeks. Foxx appeared in Apple’s last wave of iPhone 6s ads highlighting Apple Music and 3D Touch.
