Carolina Panthers defeat Philadelphia Eagles and make franchise history

The Panthers, who played their first home game in almost a month, are 6-0 for the first time.

DeMeco Ryans was inactive with a hamstring injury. Still, the Eagles knew they could beat the Panthers and that couldn’t hurt. Carolina LB A.J. Klein was back in the starting lineup after missing the previous game as he was coming out of concussion protocol….

The Eagles have a bye next week, so Peters will have time to recover, but he shouldn’t rush back from something as serious as a back injury.
