Rubio Skips Votes Because He’s ‘Frustrated’ With Pace Of Senate
Republican presidential candidate Sen. On the other side of the aisle, former Sen. “We’re still involved in looking out for Florida’s issues”.
Nationally, Rubio raised an underwhelming $5.7 million during the last three months.
Many reporters claim that the tapes have been deceptively edited, but few have admitted to watching them.
GANGEL: What did you say?
Rubio also said he was regularly briefed on Senate business, particularly as a member of the intelligence committee. Because I am leaving the Senate, I’m not running for re-election, and I’m running for president because I know this: “unless we have the right president, we cannot make America fulfill its potential, but with the right person in office, the 21st century can be the greatest era that our nation has ever known”.
Rubio’s latest skipped intelligence hearing appears to have come just days before his comments to CNN. Now, he’s done. ‘He hates it, ‘ a longtime friend from Florida said, speaking anonymously to say what Rubio would not.
The difference, though, is that Obama put in far more effort than Rubio, and as a result, he had more success. Establishment types may roll their eyes at Rubio’s explanation, but probably will continue to see him as probably their best hopes of stopping Donald Trump. “Voting is not the only part of the Senate job”. “Our goal is to be leading in the polls in February, when South Carolinians are voting, not in October”.
This just seems like a rookie mistake in terms of campaign strategy.
Sure, Florida’s election laws and competitive political landscape would have made it hard for Rubio to fall back on running for Senate, but that’s not why he’s abandoning the legislative branch.
That means Rubio has nearly $11 million left to spend, closely trailing Cruz’s $13.8 million, Carson’s $11.3 million and surpassing Bush’s $10.3 million.
“(Rubio) says he quite literally would not be a senator” if not for the “early support from Jim DeMint”, Conant added.
DeMint is not the only tie Rubio has to the Palmetto State.
Gangel reminded Rubio that in a recent speech on the Senate floor, he said federal workers who aren’t doing their jobs should be fired.
To date, not one Republican senator has even endorsed Rubio’s presidential bid.
Rubio is good at proposing stuff that doesn’t pass. Then he quits that stuff, too.
That is a good sign, said S.C. GOP chairman Matt Moore.
The result is an unfortunate situation in which Rubio is burdened by the worst of both worlds: he’s a career politician with no real accomplishments to his name.
“They [domestic programs] are very important but nothing is more important than the defense of this country”.
