AC Milan Rule Out Liverpool Cutting Short Mario Balotelli Loan
The Daily Star have reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to meet with Kop flop Mario Balotelli to talk about his future, as the striker could yet be part of Klopp’s long-term plans.
The eccentric Italian striker was sent to AC Milan on loan by Klopp’s predecessor – Brendan Rodgers – who became increasingly frustrated with the 25-year-old’s behaviour and overall attitude.
“Balo” returned to the San Siro over the summer after an unproductive debut campaign at Anfield, in which he netted just four goals in all competitions and was widely criticised for his perceived lack of work-rate and ability.
The Italian forward took to Instagram to post a somewhat mischievous photo which was enough to put a smile on City fans and get the United fans all sorts of mad.
Mario Balotelli is facing legal action from one of his former lovers who claims he uploaded intimate images of her to his Facebook account.
The on-loan Liverpool forward boasts a much better shot accuracy of 60% for Milan this term but still has much to prove if he wants to make a triumphant Merseyside return under Klopp next year.
