Whoopi Goldberg’s Tour Bus Catches Fire During Performance In Canada, Cause

A fire at a New Brunswick casino forced Whoopi Goldberg to cut a show short Saturday night and consumed the comedian’s tour bus.

According to the news site TMZ, Ms. Goldberg was on stage at the Moncton casino when her bus was engulfed in flames. Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire but early reports by CBC suggest Whoopi’s bus may have had an electrical issue. The fire was put out very quickly.

Sarah Bissett said people started making their way toward the doors but there was no panic.

Even though people had to be evacuated from the casino, Whoopi Goldberg was near the end of her show when the bus fire was discovered.

Goldberg’s official Twitter account and her Facebook page did not immediately mention the incident.
