DAVID trail mix recall announced

(CAG) announced that DAVID Trail Mix Sweet & Salty flavor is voluntarily recalled due to presence of an ingredient in the trail mix that contains milk protein, which is not declared on the packaging.

This food is a concern for people who are allergic to milk.

The recall is specifically for the DAVID “Sweet & Salty” flavor trail mix. However, the DAVID Trail Mix Classic is not impacted by this recall.

ConAgra Foods did not reveal the supplier and said a “limited quantity” was affected when asked how many packages were recalled. To date, ConAgra Foods has reported one instance of allergic reaction due to consumption of the David Trail Mix Sweet & Salty.

The recalled trail mix has the UPC 26200 23885. The trail mix was shipped to retail stores across the United States and in Mexico.

Recalled products should be thrown out or taken back to the store where it was purchased.

Product was distributed to retail stores in the USA, sold at Ethereal Confections in Woodstock, Illinois, and online.
