Henry Czerny to play Toyman in Supergirl

Revenge’s Henry Czerny will terrorize National City as Supergirl’s malevolent Winn Schott (aka the Toyman).

Warner Bros. Television describes Schott Sr.as the “classic D.C. supervillain, a mad criminal genius known as Toyman – Winn’s estranged father”. Before that, however, hell attempt to reunite with his son Winn, who is Karas CatCo coworker and close friend.

Czerny’s Toyman is just one of the many DC characters that are scheduled to show up on Supergirl in Season 1, as Livewire, Reactron, Hellgrammite, and Non are all coming as well.

Czerny is reportedly only contracted for one episode at this time. (Jeremy Jordan) works alongside Kara Danvers a.k.a. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) at CatCo Media. He joins Chris Vance and Iddo Goldberg as the villains Non and Red Tornado, respectively. In addition to playing Conrad Grayson on the ABC series Revenge, Czernys body of work includes appearances in Mission Impossible (the movie), The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Tudors and Falling Skies.

“Supergirl” premieres tonight at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.
