The Walking Dead boss speaks out about that possible character death: “We’re”
Only the second episode ever, I believe, after the Beth centric episodes from last season. But Michonne refused to grab a hold of his note and told him that he should hold on to it instead because he would be able to make it back. I wasn’t quite sure why he felt like he had to do that. My feeling is that Glenn will not survive, but will be able to get word to Rick over the radio so the group will know. Every episode they air an “In Memoriam” for all the characters killed, including the Walkers. The main Game of Thrones character died at the end of season five, but many expect him to be magically resurrected next season. Even if it wasn’t Glenn’s entrails that the Walkers were dining on, he would still be in that mass, on the ground, essentially pinned down by Nicholas’ body – a sitting duck. “Not Glenn!” It was the same way I felt when Hershel Greene died. “I spend a lot of time on these cuts, so take that as you will”. But the cowardly Nicholas (Michael Traynor) fell directly on top of Glenn when he made a decision to take his own life, meaning all of the blood and guts that viewers assumed were being ripped from Glenn, might have in fact belonged to Nicholas.
However, this doesn’t check out for multiple reasons. And he said, “So if it were [time] for Glenn to go, then it’s probably going to be awesome”.
On the other, the walkers could have also been feasting on Nicholas’ body after he shot himself in the head. Mind you, he might just be filming a flashback or popping in to say hi to his co-stars. Anyway, Glenn’s death, as mentioned before, has not been confirmed just yet.
It looks like they’re in a lose-lose situation here.
When the walkers are done with Nicholas they’ll find Glenn and eat him too right? If he’s alive, the odds of that happening are so small that there’s no way they could really explain that satisfactorily. Carol in the comics and Carol in the show are two wildly different people. He’s one of the only original characters left and has always been so moral and good. This is something that’s been done back in season one, with Rick and Glenn, but that was with walker guts, not the intestines of a new corpse. “But you know, I’m of the opinion that certainly with where the story seems to be going this season, no one is safe of any long term damage”.
We talk in terms of “are you afraid to get killed off?”
A few fans began to speculate whether Rick’s injury will lead him to losing his hand. But is that what really happened?
