The Walking Dead: Proof that THIS PERSON is still alive

But is – seriously, stop reading if you haven’t seen the episode – Glenn (Steven Yeun) really dead? But how and why that will happen hasn’t been divulged.

This has made for great TV – if only the depressing kind – because Season 6 is reaching new peaks (or maybe depths) of nihilism. Seeing no way out, Nicholas shot himself in the head, falling into the crowd of zombies and taking Glenn with him.

If the walkers were sufficiently distracted with Nicholas, it could have given Glenn the opportunity to roll under the nearby dumpster to relative safety. There were so many walkers surrounding them that it would be impossible for Glenn to survive.

Meanwhile, others are speculating that the character in question will be Paul “Jesus” Monroe – if anything, this is more likely as he has been spotted on set as shown below.

Yes, that does sound ominous, like we will see body parts or see him as a walker, but again, Gimple is a master at deception and after thinking about it I realized it could mean something totally different.

Hmm. It’s hard to tell exactly what Gimple is hinting at with Glenn’s death, though we’re glad the character will remain a part of the narrative in a few (weirdly mysterious) capacity. Glenn wound up surrounded by flesh-eating zombies in an alleyway with another character, Nicholas. Yuen’s failure to appear on the show triggered rumors that Glenn might still be alive after all, the report explains.

As they split into smaller groups, Glenn was with Nicholas, the man who last season caused the brutal death of his friend Noah. He, too, was not seen in the usual post-mortem wrap-up of the dead characters, when a main role died, they usually appeared to talk about their death.

Glenn is a cunning person, which allowed him to stay alive for this long, but according to everything the show has told us about this fearless new world, someone that soft-hearted was never going to be the one that survives in the long run.
