The first collision happened on Finch Avenue west of Sentinel Road just before 1 a.m. Police confirm that the driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
They say investigators were blocking off the area with their vehicles when one of the cruisers was hit by a second driver.

Finch has since re-opened.
This police cruiser was t-boned on Finch Avenue West at Tobermory Drive, near the spot where police were investigating an earlier crash in which a police cruiser was rear-ended.
Constable Clint Stibbe tells AM640 there were a total of 5 crashes overnight where the drivers were charged with impaired driving.
