Mike Tyson endorses Trump for president
“So now let’s try something new”, he added.
Donald Trump may have dropped behind Dr. Ben Carson in both an Iowa and national poll this week, but at least he’s still seen as the best presidential candidate in the eyes of Mike Tyson.
Donald Trump, the man who has been accused by a few of waging a war on women, has the backing of former boxer and convicted rapist Mike Tyson.
Tyson believes that it’s time for “something new” after two terms of President Barack Obama. “No colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job”.
When asked straight up if he was endorsing Trump, Tyson said: “I would, yeah”. So we got to change. “I like Trump.” Tyson did admit Trump has made a few “crude” comments about Mexican immigrants, but said he doesn’t think Trump really “thinks of Latinos in that way”.
Tyson, who famously bit the ear of Evander Holyfield during a championship bout in 1997, said he thinks a business-minded leader like Trump is just what this country needs. “He said really crude things”. And he needs somebody to work with him on how to deliver his messages.
“But as far as what he did, he’s an average guy like everybody else”.
“They’re telling the people right in their face”, he said, “all the Republicans, all the Democrats, all the Independents, they’re saying right in the people’s face, ‘You don’t know what you’re doing'”. But it doesn’t stop us from striving.
