New Star Wars Battlefront Gameplay Trailer
For those miffed at the lack of a dedicated mode to play as the most iconic villains or heroes of Star Wars in the upcoming Battlefront game, you can finally rest easy.
Here’s a pretty safe bet: William Shatner has not pre-ordered tickets to see “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” on opening night. This goes for both the visuals and feel.
“The quality that you see in the game and what we’ve shown, I understand that there may be a few skepticism, but we’ve made sure that we’ve made the right decisions in the right places so that we can bring the best quality game to the player”, McLeod told P101. The graphics in Star Wars Battlefront look incredible and all, but … what the heck is this? These can be the Millennium Falcon or the Slave I. Seeing the Rebels work together to take down the Empire – fantastic! They do reveal that Boba Fett’s Slave I will have the ability to initiate a mini-map radar jammer to prevent other players from picking him up on radar.
And last week, when the new trailer and poster came out, Shatner had a field day. The Slave I is capable of firing Ion Cannons and Proton Torpedoes while also jamming enemy radars.
Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 17, 2015. As you’ve probably gathered, they’re household names from the Star Wars-verse: on the side of all that’s good in the galaxy, there’s Leia Organa and Han Solo.
