JJ Abrams finally addresses why Luke Skywalker is missing from Star Wars
Is this because the original trilogy characters are only present in minor supporting roles or is there something more to this marketing strategy?
Starring Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong and Miltos Yerolemou, the J.J. Abrams-directed film will debut in theaters on December 18, 2015. “I can’t wait for you to find out the answer”.
“These are good questions to be asking”, Abrams said with a wry grin on his face. I can’t wait for you to find out the answer… There’s something that has been missing from every trailer that has been released so far – Luke Skywalker’s existence.
Tech Insider came up with a report filled with several revelations from the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer. Of course, the Mystery Box has never faced a challenge like Star Wars, with rabid fans flying drones over locations to get a glimpse of walker feet, hanger mounds and other details.
Excitement around the movie has already reached incredible heights following the latest Star Wars trailer release.
Moreover, there have also been rumors that a new family bond between lead female character Rey and Kylo Ren will be revealed, and are speculated to be sister and brother.
As for the status of Star Wars 7’s completion, Abrams said that the film’s final cut will be finished before the visual effects are completed in the next few weeks.
