Taylor Swift Meets With 6-Year-Old Girl Battling Rare Form of Cancer

As luck would have it, Rayburn and her mother ended up sitting nearby Swift’s mother, who was also diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

But the surprises for little Taylor didn’t end there: She also got to meet her idol. Just check out the jubilant Facebook post Allison put up Sunday, following Swift’s Atlanta show.

But the six-year-old got an extra surprise when Taylor Swift’s mum, Andrea, noticed her in the crowd and invited her to party with the star’s family and friends.

Taylor Rayburn spent her birthday in hospital because she was receiving treatment for Wilms’ tumour – a rare form of cancer. The news outlet said that Rayburn apparently had surgery to remove a small tumor and one of her kidneys around the time of her birthday.

Andrea Swift therefore went ahead and invited Rayburn to sit with her for a couple of her daughter’s songs… and then she brought the ill toddler backstage!

Our seats happened to be close to where Taylor Swift’s entourage was. Allison captioned a photo of her daughter on Instagram.

Taylor Swift is known for her fantastic ability to interact with her fans. Allison wrote on her Facebook post.

“Dreams really do come true!” Taylor announced that her mother was diagnosed with cancer in April after gifting her with screenings at Christmas.
