Final Votes Expected On Ohio Bill To Fix Small Business Tax
Ohio will make it easier for pharmacists and medical professionals who prescribe drugs to tap into a database meant to prevent abuse of prescription painkillers, Gov. John Kasich announced Monday.
Kasich’s remarks came as he prepares to join nine other candidates at Wednesday’s Republican debate hosted by CNBC in Boulder, Colorado. And if either of those two men were to end up as the Republican nominee, you can pretty well expect that Kasich’s attacks will end up in Democratic campaign ads in Ohio.
WESTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) – A day before the next 2016 presidential debate, Ohio Gov. John Kasich said Tuesday he’s fed up and ready to provide a “reality check” to a few of the wild rhetoric and unworkable ideas of his Republican presidential rivals.
“We’re right behind him all the way”, Kuntz said. Kasich asked. He added that he is “sick and exhausted of listening to this nonsense”. “Vetoes are a sign you can’t get what you want”, Kasich said. “We know that infant mortality is something he’s talked a lot about, and yet he’s continually stood with people who’ve attacked Planned Parenthood”.
He also called out Trump on his claim he persuaded Ford to build plants in the USA instead of Mexico, a feat Kasich accomplished in 2011 for one Ohio plant. “That was like something out of a “Back to the Future” movie, ‘ Kasich said”. He said a plan to “abolish” Medicaid and Medicare is “crazy” – a reference to Ben Carson’s suggested alternative Ben Carson of a health savings account, though Carson has not called for the elimination of the popular entitlement programs.
“What’s happened to our party? So why don’t we grow up?” What has happened to the conservative movement?
“I just think it sends the wrong message”, he said.
You know, what I say to them is, why don’t we have no taxes?
“It’s time we start educating the American people about bad choices”, he said.
