Fallout 4 For PS4 and Xbox One: Will It Arrive Poor Graphics?
Bethesda has now confirmed that Fallout 4 will be coming out for the PS4, XBOX One, PS Vita and the PC platforms.
What’s even more interesting is that players now have two modes to play the game i.e. the first-person and the third-person view. A few of the effects that users can expect to see from Gameworks are Ambient Occlusion, Dynamic Lighting and Post-processed Shadow rendering – although the developer was unable to share whether all these effects will be available in the original version of the game or if they will be incorporated with patches and DLC after initial launch.
In addition to being able to pre-load Fallout 4, customers who preordered the game will also have additional goodies waiting for them.
According to Bethesda’s Pete Hines it’s just not possible to chop out a section of the game for you to play. As far as file sizes go, Fallout 4 will sit between 28GB and 35GB depending on platform, so it won’t take up too much space. A few games have the whole content downloaded, while others have part of the game downloaded. Of course Bethesda would do their best to tweak the game engine to meet the needs of the PS4 and Xbox One; however the technicalities would still be with the older consoles.
Anyone who pre-orders Fallout 4 on the Xbox One will receive a free digital copy of Fallout 3, playable via backwards compatibility.
What do you think about Fallout 4 not having a demo?
Bethesda chose to finally make their first ever appearance at the E3 this year, and with their arrival at the event, they announced, on the first day, the release of DOOM – the reboot of the classic game. The delay should give players the opportunity to actually enjoy Fallout 4 as Bethesda intended before deciding alter the game with mods. The consoles will only get to play the mods that have been created on the PC version of the game.
