Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Interferes During Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin Match

Taylor is an avid wrestling fan and it’s quite surprising that he hasn’t been involved in anything with WWE up to this point.

The incident took place at the Aftershock festival, consisting of WWE NXT wrestlers. Wait, what? The masked guys you liked for a minute in high school before you discovered what music is supposed to sound like? Of course it’s Baron Corbin.

Literally, Corey Taylor is not that tall and Baron Corbin is like the genetically engineered giantspawn of Gregor Clegane and the cave troll that gores Frodo in Fellowship Of The Ring. The angle started when Corbin tried to give Taylor a t-shirt, which was returned by Taylor.

The 2015 Monster Energy Aftershock Festival was a screaming success last weekend as almost 50,000 rock fans descended on Sacramento, California for a wild ride With Faith No More, Jane’s Addiction, Slipknot and Sacramento’s own Deftones, among many others.

Taylor cost Corbin the match and it looks like all of this was taped for a video that will eventually air on AltPress.

I’m not sure what I think about NXT/music crossovers, but if this leads to Finn Balor Coup de Gracing the members of Limp Bizkit, consider me on board.
