Matic denies rift with Mourinho
Wenger was not punished for his comments, but Mourinho was slapped with a fine and a one-match stadium ban for saying that referees were afraid to award his side penalties.
Mourinho is undoubtedly echoing Wenger, who accused Mike Dean of naivety after his Arsenal side lost 2-0 to Chelsea back in September, but avoided any punishment from the FA, per talkSPORT.
Matic had lasted just 27 minutes of Chelsea’s previous league game, against Southampton – Mourinho has since said he wants to rebuild the midfielder’s confidence – while Hazard was told in public he needed to do more defensive work.
Having claimed the Barclays player of the year award last season, Eden Hazard was Chelsea’s golden boy and he publicly stated that he had no intention or desire to leave the club.
“I don’t know what’s going on with the owner and what the circumstances are, but to me at times it looks like he’s begging for the sack”.

“First half we probably created enough chances to win the game”. Terry though is confident they can progress to the knockout stages if they win their home games. “We have had too many bad results and hopefully now we can move in the right direction”.
