Royal family rub shoulders with Bond stars at premiere
Asked about what it felt like to be a “Bond girl” – a term that is sometimes seen as patronising towards the actresses who play the roles – Seydoux smiled: “I don’t know if I’m a Bond girl, I’m just a blonde girl”.
Kicking off proceedings Duchess Catherine, hubby Wills and Prince Harry all headed to the BAFTA headquarters for the children’s charity premiere of the animated special Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas.

Daniel swapped his tux for a blazer and tie combo while Monica showed off her sensational figure in a curve-hugging shirt and statement maxi skirt.

Harris said another female Bond character, Dr Madeleine Swann, is not your typical “Bond girl” either. “I can’t believe it”.

The royals met with the movie’s director Sam Mendes and producer Barbara Broccoli ahead of the screening.

This year William, Kate and Harry chose two extra charities to benefit from the premiere: Shelterbox, which is helping quake victims in Nepal rebuild their lives, and Save The Children for its working helping children fleeing war-torn Syria and Iraq. “With “Spectre” I wanted to do something completely different – to try and make a different movie”, concluding, “We wanted more mischief, more fun and more wit”.
