Google Photos now lets you hide pictures of your ex
To use the new People Hide feature, you’ll hit the search button (the magnifying glass in the lower right-hand corner of your display.) Once inside search, you’ll find the People section and tap the circle in the corner of a face you no longer want to see labeled, then tap Hide.

Note:You’ll need to be on the latest version of Google Photos for this option to be available.
A new Develop tool in the app will open up when you load a RAW file in Snapseed. It’s not facial recognition in that it won’t know who that person is, but it should categorize things better.
The Google Photos team last announced updates during the Nexus event in September, and now yet another feature is making its way to the app: hide specific people. Google also suggests that this Face grouping feature will soon be available in Latin America, Canada, the Caribbean, Australia, and New Zealand.
So in case you happen to have photos of you with an ex-girlfriend or boyfriend that you don’t want accidentally surfacing, you can teach Google Photos that their face isn’t something you want them to focus on and it’ll essentially be sent to photo purgatory.
The result of editing a JPEG file. You’ll have the ability to exposure, contrast, white balance (temperature and tint), saturation, shadows, highlights, and structure.
