The Latest Star Wars: Battlefront Trailer Looks Absolutely Insane
If the trailer proves to be a true indication, the gameplay produced by EA DICE could very well be as epic as every Star Wars fan envisions.
But if you’re expecting Disney and Lucasfilm to pump out trailer after trailer all in the hope of drumming up excitement for the sci-fi sequel, think again. In fact, the only person who might get more screen time than Luke in this trailer is Jar Jar Binks. And it certainly wouldn’t hurt director J.J. Abrams’ feelings. Talking with Extra, he had this to say.
“We’re getting very close, the next thing’s really gonna be the movie”, Abrams said.
Disney/Pixar’s “Inside Out” released a clip of the film’s stars watching the new trailer through the lens of protagonist, Riley, and they all reacted just as we did – with screaming, falling down, and overall excitement. While he was clearly reluctant to say more, Abrams did add that it was “no accident” that we hadn’t seen Luke yet.
Other theorize that Skywalker – who may be the figure with the gloved hand seen reaching out to touch R2D2 in two of the trailers – could simply be in hiding.
“It’s true, all of it. The Dark Side, the Jedi”. Though, leaked photos of Mark Hamill in a white robe suggest otherwise. One of the event’s participants said the preview opens with a scene from the African market and shows Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Captain America (Chris Evans) attacking a van filled with explosives. You want people to be debating things even before the movie comes out, it’s a dream!’ Why is there no information about Luke Skywalker? Several battles will take place in different settings such as Hoth, Tatooine etc. and it features iconic characters like Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine squaring off against Boba Fett, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.
