Driver cited for using ‘zombie baby’ as HOV passenger
I’m glad the driver was ticketed, he’s ruined my Halloween.
According to WSDOT, “Drivers can use HOV lanes whenever there are two or more people (including the driver) in the vehicle”.
Sadly for the motorists, the carpool rules don’t allow for zombie babies in place of actual human beings and cops gave him a bit of a ticking off.

Highway patrol officers have pulled over HOV lane violators with peculiar choices for passengers: a mannequin, a cutout of Dos Equis’ World’s Most Interesting Man, a stuffed animal, paperwork. At least he’s in the (pumpkin emoji) spirit.
The doll, dressed in a pink outfit with a black beanie, sported a creepy red skeletal face. In April 2012, a 21-year-old tried to use an inflatable doll to bypass traffic, KIRO-TV reported.
