According to bits of information we gathered from a recent report on ETNews in Korea, Samsung recently partnered up with Apple in order to supply the company with OLED panels for the Watch.
While not everyone is going to care about where Apple’s components are made, Samsung’s insistence on getting into as many Apple production areas as possible is a cause for genuine concern among Cupertino’s suppliers. If the news is true, iPhone 7 will become the first mobile device using OLED screen technology, said Phone Arena. Back in June, there were also reports of Apple releasing an iPhone in 2018 with flexible OLED panels being developed by Samsung.

(JDI). However, Reuters points out that this plan could stretch over a long period of time since the new plant can only begin operating in 2015, the report relays.
