‘Fantastic Beasts’ Pictures Of Eddie Redmayne And Plot Details Emerge
Now with the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them next year, there is a light at the end of this magic-less tunnel. Now, we have new plot details from the J.K. Rowling-scripted, David Yates-directed film.
“Eccentric magizoologist Newt Scamander (Redmayne) com[ing] to New York (for a reason we won’t disclose) with his trusty weathered case”.
Anyway, Scamander travels with a suitcase that, in TARDIS fashion, is much bigger on the inside-so big, in fact, that it contains habitats for all the endangered magical creatures Scamander has collected during his travels around the world. The eight “Harry Potter” films earned $7.7 billion worldwide, making it the most lucrative franchise in film history.
On top of the forthcoming movie, Harry Potter fans have yet another thing to be excited about: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Rowling’s upcoming stage play which serves as a sequel to the original book series. The play is a sequel to the famous Harry Potter book series with story focusing on characters of Adult Harry and his son Albus, according to Variety. It looks like the film will further breach the differences between you regular human and wizards/witches, as well as present an adventure for our young hero in tracking down creatures across the United States landscape. No doubt part of the escapades will include unsafe magical creatures escaping from the case that must be recaptured, all while hiding from the anti-magic Americans. I kind of wish that reveal was reserved for a trailer or a few other promotional video, so that wed be able to hear what it sounds like in context, spoken in an American presumably, specifically a New York-American – accent.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will premiere on November 18, 2016.
Entertainment Weekly has released a spoiler-free synopsis of the film.
A Muggle – nope, we WON’T be using “No-Maj” until strictly necessary – who’s introduced to Newt and the wizarding world and is also the first ever Muggle main character.
