Samsung latest Galaxy S7 expected to launch earlier
Samsung’s upcoming flagship reportedly has LTE Cat. In fact, the February launch is a month later than what many expected. This news comes in after Samsung’s Vice Chairman Kwon Oh-Hyun shared that they may be looking at “restructuring of launch price” for the upcoming devices in order to boost sales.
Most reports hint at a January 2016 launch for the flagship, Samsung Galaxy S7, and more details are bound to surface once the announcement inches closer.
Sources on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo claim the Samsung Galaxy S7 could cost at least 10 percent less than the Samsung Galaxy S6, which sells in the $600 range unlocked for its base 32GB model.
There’s precedent for a Samsung device launch earlier than usual, though. The company surprised everyone by presenting the Galaxy Note 5 sooner than expected, during the summer of 2015.
Speaking of rumors, one idea that raised interest is that the handset will have two variants. The code is said to have been leaked by a Samsung Insider, the code is also said to work on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy S4 as well.
The information revealed that Sony Xperia Z5’s 23-MP ISOCELL primary rear-facing camera will also be featured on the next Samsung high-end smartphone. This rumor is possible, but not plausible, considering Samsung just implemented category 9 LTE on the Galaxy Note 5, and that speed on the Note 5 is already limited only to the markets where cat.
The excitement is justified over the impressive LTE Cat. 12 modem, as it allows speeds of 100Mb/s for uploading files and 600Mb/s for downloading them. This equates to data speeds up to 600Mbps.
Earlier, a few website stated next rival would come out with 20-megapixel ISOCELL sensor similar to Galaxy S5. Samsung has not yet announced BRITECELL or even the Galaxy S7, for that matter.
According to G For Games, Samsung might feature a 32-bit Stereo D/A converter, courtesy of ESS technology and the device will be enwrapped in a magnesium alloy shell.
