Take a tour of four Star Wars: Battlefront planets
Star Wars Battlefront is just around the corner, and now, EA is blowing the lid off most of the game’s content with a new interactive website. The teaser ends with a heavily damaged Imperial Star Destroyer about to crash onto the planet’s surface. Each video plays through a battle on the respective planet, pausing occassionally to give you more information on the gameplay. Star Wars Battlefront launches on the 17th of November in North America and on the 20th of November in Europe.
The LucasArts-developed game was meant to release in summer 2013, followed by a vehicular combat game codenamed Wingman, and then a proper Battlefront 3 (distinct from EA’s imminent Battlefront and Free Radical’s cancelled Battlefront 3 from 2006). We want to make the player feel connected to the planets, and I think this really comes through in the other Hoth map variations at launch, along with the other immersive planets. While all Battlefront players will be able to play it starting on December 8th, those who pre-order the game will get to enjoy it a week early, beginning on December 1st.
“You’ll see both new universes”, Moore continued.
The “Star Wars: Battlefront” COO also encourages players to purchase “Star Wars: Battlefront Season Pass”, now priced at $50 because it will include the four expansion packs.
Star Wars: First Assault looks to play a lot like Call of Duty, which is unsurprising given the series’ dominance when First Assault was dreamt up. Although the time limited demo isn’t the ideal, it allows for you to try out the game prior to release if you own EA Access.
