Surprise! Apple TV buyers mostly men, study says

The new Apple TV boasts a new app store, a new remote with a touchpad, games, voice search, and even Siri control.

You can also change what speakers the audio outputs to. But the new Apple TV’s high price tag doesn’t make a strong case when the others do pretty much the same things for less. Amazon.com’s (NASDAQ:AMZN) Fire TV brought in 64.2% men.

That’s been our unboxing and first impressions of the new Apple TV.

If your Apple TV 4 can’t seem to catalog your media library correctly, try restarting your device by going to Settings – System – Restart.

Okay, so AirPlay is similar to Chromecast in a way, and AirPlay is already available on the new Apple TV, but there is a major difference. Just consider that it won’t let you stream music from your Apple devices because it’s not compatible with iOS. Select Sleep to not only put the Apple TV to bed, but also turn off your television.

If an Apple TV jailbreak does arrive, WinterBoard will probably be one of the most popular jailbreak apps to get for the set-top box.

The Apple TV has grown in height this year and it’s really evident when compared to the previous generation TV.

What you may not have known is that you can connect Bluetooth speakers so that you don’t bother your roommates or family when you’re watching, enhance dialogue, and even change the audio language on supported media.

We’re guessing that Apple will update its Remote app eventually to support the new Apple TV, but who knows when that will be.
