‘Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft’ Adds The League of Explorers Adventure Next Week
The next one is League of Explorers and like the previous two adventures, this one will also be added a few new cards to the game.
The League of Explorers adventure is comprised of four locations, the first of which will be avialable for explroation starting November 12th.
A new mage spell card called Torch costs three mana and deals three damage, but also shuffles another three-mana spell into your deck that deals six damage, allowing you to snowball into more powerful abilities later in the game. Instead, it will feature the eponymous League of Explorers, a team of adventuring archeologists led by Brann Bronzebeard, an important character who is well known to Warcraft fans.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft’s new adventure was revealed during BlizzCon today. Each piece of the staff are located in Temple of Orsis, Uldaman and Stranglethorn Jungle, so three pieces in total. However, there are more cards being added to the game with this new adventure than what has been added with past ones. For example, a minion might have a battlecry that reads “discover a spell”. League of Explorers trailer after the break. In other words, they’re more targeted than cards that simply let you draw more cards.
Most interesting of all, though, is Elise Starseeker. After drawing the map, the Golden Monkey card is then shuffled into their deck, and once that card is played, the player’s entire deck and hand are replaced with legendary cards.
If you’re a Hearthstone fan, you won’t have to wait long to join the expedition – the adventure’s first wing is going to be made available next Thursday.
