Snoopy and others chipped away at an ice sculpture that read Safeway Holiday Ice Rink to “break the ice” and open the rink at 9:30 a.m. That price includes skates!
The ice rink will host a variety of exciting events ideal for enjoying the holiday season.
One of the most well-known rinks in Moscow; the Red Square’s skating rink is popular with tourists.
The Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square presented by Bank of the West, which is one of two outdoor ice skating rinks in San Francisco, is one of those classic family-friendly destinations that posts a legal disclaimer in the form of a giant sign letting you know that if you fall and injure yourself, well, that shit’s on you.
The Ice Rink presented by Planet Ford in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital attracts thousands of families from across the area and will again be located at the northeast corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive. Grab your single friends and head down to the ice rink for a single’s night mixer!
There will also be a performance of Drag Queens on Ice: Fa-la-la-la-abulous!
