America’s Next Top Model Might Not Be Cancelled After All
Libiran has been chosen by supermodel and “ANTM” host Tyra Banks to return to the show’s 22nd cycle and create a special collection as part of the last challenge for its five finalists.
Deadline reports that ANTM producers are exploring other avenues to keep the show running. No deal is set just yet, but crucially, “incoming calls from cable and streaming players” came first, following the sad news that The CW was done with the show, meaning what seems like legitimate interest in the show is out there.
Last month, we learned that America’s Next Top Model was finally ending this year after running since 2003. “It was a surreal experience as it is an honor and a privilege to represent Filipino talent and artistry in such an global and well-respected platform as America’s Next Top Model”.
Mok is now putting together a formal presentation to buyers with the help of CBS employee Scott Koondel, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Would U be interested in seeing Tyra & Co. after Cycle 22?? “Yeah, it’s time. It really is”. “Yeah, I truly believe it’s time”, Banks explained. In 2014, Tyra proudly sashayed the red carpet of the Flawsome Ball wearing the gown modeled by Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner-up Venus Raj during the Francis Libiran Metrowear Icon fashion gala, which featured his Fall/Holliday 2014 collection.
In regards to the CW, it has been the most successful reality TV show on the network and has been a staple for it since the merger. “You want to leave when you’re on top”.
