The EmojiWorks Emoji Keyboard
A new emoji keyboard, which may be a much-needed piece of hardware nowadays, is now available, at a price tag starting from $80.
The Austin, TX team behind the wacky device promises you’ll be able to hunt down emoji 10 times faster than usual, with each one quickly accessible via one of the special keys located along the bottom of the keyboard.
Thanks to the Bluetooth-enabled EmojiWorks keyboard for Macs, iPhones and iPads, you can now always been in touch with your emotions – and your emoji.
The keyboard will work with Mac OS X, iOS, and Windows. Plus, hand out your unique referral link to friends, and earn a $5 credit and a higher place in the queue for each person who buys a keyboard. The maker of these keyboards says that you will spend less time looking for emoji when you are typing and more time talking to people. However, once you press the emoji converter button, you can generate the respective emoji by simply pressing the key.
The plus and pro models feature skin modifier keys for changing the skin tone of a character as you can on a smartphone.
Each key will contain anywhere between one and three emoji, which include a few of iOS 9.1 new emoji: the unicorn, taco and even the middle finger.
The first batch of pre-orders will be shipped out in December. But the tech website notes the keyboard is targeted for Apple device users as it points to its similarity to the Apple wireless keyboard and it used the Apple-designed emojis rather than other interpretations of the emoticons. They cost $79.95 (about £51), $89.95, and $99.95, respectively.
