Trump and Carson still lead in Iowa; Christie at 3%
Despite winning hypothetical match-ups against the Democratic front-runner, Rubio, Cruz and Christie trailed Trump and Carson, receiving a respective 14, 13 and 3 percent of the vote among Republican voters, according to poll results. No other candidate tops three percent except former Florida governor Jeb Bush, the son and brother of two presidents, who was languishing at four per cent.
Trump’s slim two-point advantage over Carson is well within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

It’s a close race between business tycoon Donald Trump and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson for the position of front-running Republican presidential candidate.
Self-identified Democrats polled picked Clinton as their top choice by 44 percent, while 16 percent chose Vermont Sen.
Both Clinton and Carson received 47 percent in the poll.
The poll is another show of strength for Carson, who has emerged as an unlikely frontrunner for the GOP nomination despite modest debate performances and a series of controversial statements. The survey showed Clinton ahead of Trump in a head-to-head matchup, but behind both Rubio and Cruz.
Bush has the worst net favorability rating of any candidate, a negative 25 – 58 percent, while Trump gets a negative 37 – 56 percent and Clinton gets a negative 42 – 52 percent.
However, The Washington Times noted that Trump is not anxious about their single percentage difference, as he said that Carson has “lower energy” than Bush, who he said was practically narcoleptic. She scores especially badly on the “honesty” metric, 36 percent to 60 percent. 4, surveying 548 likely Republican caucus goers with a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points and 498 likely Democratic caucus goers with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 1,230 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from November 1-3, 2015.
