Force for Daniel: Star Wars fan has wish granted, sees new film
The media campaign thrust Fleetwood into the national spotlight and finally, this week, the powers that be granted his final wish.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Fleetwood, 32, was granted this request by the film’s producers.

In July, 32-year old Daniel Fleetwood was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma, a connective tissue cancer, and was given the news that he would only have two months to live. Having thanked all the “amazing people” who made her husband’s wish come true, she added: “May the force be with you all”.
Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, was among those to lend their support.
Ashley announced via Facebook, as reported by her friend Chris Alexakos on Twitter, her husband got to watch the unedited version of the film, thanks to a call from director J.J. Abrams.
“The Force Awakens” is the seventh film in the official Star Wars canon and resets the story a few thirty years after the events of “Star Wars Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi”.
