Naomie Harris on Her Majesty’s service at world premiere of Spectre
As a Bond fan myself, since the end credits of Skyfall in 2012 I have patiently been waiting for the release of Spectre – and I’m pleased to say that the film lived up to my expectations.
Craig, 47, has been quoted as saying he wanted out of the franchise and told an interviewer in July that he would rather slit his wrists than play 007 again. “We’re not going to let him go”.
Directed by Sam Mendes and starring Daniel Craig, the 24th Bond movie screened in 647 theaters last night, rolling out just 15 minutes after the 8 p.m. world premiere in London.
Tom Hardy, Damian Lewis and Idris Elba are among the names being touted as possible rumoured successors.
Bellucci, who at 50 is the oldest Bond girl in the history of the franchise, said the appeal of James Bond could be summed up pretty easily.
Wearing a black tuxedo, with a poppy pinned on its left side, the actor spent time signing autographs for fans and taking selfies.

Trailers have shown action- packed scenes as 007 uncovers the shady organisation named Spectre (Special Executive for Counter- Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) and its dark link to villain Franz Oberhauser, played by Oscar victor Christoph Waltz.
Spectre is the very first Bond movie to open as its premier in theatres around the exact same day.
He tells the camera: “I literally can not believe it. I have used up all my luck for this year and next year”.
The star of “James Bond” Daniel Craig recently called his character a “misogynist” and said he should not be viewed as a role model.
“You’ve got to just interpret it the way you see it, so whoever does it after me, you know, they’ve just got to be good I hope, and that, you know, make the films as good as you can”, he said.
“Mendes said he was delighted that the public were also getting to see the film”.
“We were blessed from beginning to end with every member of the cast – they raised the bar and I had to try match them”. “I’ve been honored with a co-producing credit so I’m incredibly proud of that”. If you try to cling on to it too long it becomes a bit of a burden.
