And (sorry to be morbid) but he looks very much like he’s screaming out of pain, not fear. He and Nicholas split off from the group to try to set up a distraction for the Walkers. The two are on top of a dumpster, surrounded by zombies, facing imminent death.

After setting off with Nicholas, whom he had recently forgiven, to distract the zombie horde, they get trapped by walkers in an alley where they scrambledup on a dumpster in a futile effort to live a little longer.

But you can’t always believe what you see. There were so many walkers surrounding them that it would be impossible for Glenn to survive. Nicholas clearly fell on him.

Chances are, Glenn is dead – just accept it. You don’t have to be happy about it, but this is likely going to be a death that has far reaching ripple effects. The show opened on Glenn, which was an ominous sign, sort of like finally giving the backstory to a reality-TVcontestant.

Until next week, you’ll have to decide for yourself whether or not Glenn made it out of his situation alive. If you are a fan of the comics, then you know that this is not the way Glenn meets his fate. Those screams of pain and look of horror as the Walkers ate the entrails give a pretty good idea that Glenn’s body became Walker chow.

The episode, titled “Thank You”, saw more bloodshed. Written by Scott M. Gimple and directed by Stephen Williams. Plus, according to fansite, The Spoiling Dead Fans, Yeun has still been spotted filming. Would The Walking Dead really troll us?

The enduring character had managed to survive since the first series and his death sent Twitter fans into mourning and denial. Maggie may be carry Glenn’s unborn child, or there might be flashbacks, or Glenn might be a zombie now – though he’d be in tatters anyway.
