ACC Football Schedule, Game Times For Week 10

The Tar Heels came out swinging early and piled the points on so that Duke could not come back later on in the game. On Friday we got our first taste of that.

Can UNC keep its edge now that it’s cracked the national rankings? Duke had closed the score to 24-10 and it looked as if the Tar Heels might have one chance before the half. There’s still a long way to go this year, but the Tar Heels, with wins over Pittsburgh and Duke, are in the driver’s seat in the ACC Coastal. Will they continue to play with the chip they’ve had on their collective shoulder these past seven weeks or will they stop for a moment to pat themselves on the back for a job well done?

Max McCaffrey (34 catches, 450 yards) and Johnell Barnes (28 for 336) are Sirk’s top two targets for an offense that has produced 32.6 points per game and averages 420.8 yards.

Following two overtime periods, the game went to penalty kicks. Backup quarterbacks also have trouble sustaining success once opponents start to get tape of their tendencies.

The backups, led by sophomore quarterback Mitch Trubisky, played out the final period-but not without getting in on the fun. It is hard to miss a one-loss power conference team at this point. “I mean I’m not going to put frustration on our defense”.

UNC: The team beat Boston College 3-2. In the ACC game of the season, No. 17 Florida State travels to Death Valley to take on the No. 3 Clemson Tigers with the Atlantic Division on the line and a spot in the ACC Championship Game.
