Jets QBs banged up in 34-20 loss to Raiders

Cornerback Buster Skrine has given up completions on 60 percent or more of the passes thrown his way in all but one game this season, including 14 of 20 passes in the past four games. “When we watch the media, the TV guys, whatever, I want them to pick the Raiders”. The group also paved the way for three sacks and NINE(!) tackles for loss. Their identity is starting to take shape on the defensive front as a hard-nosed run stopping front seven who will continue to pressure the QB. It was Holmes again who broke free down the sideline and Carr who hit him in flawless stride for 49-yard touch.

“You can’t just live in the shotgun”, Bowles said.

The Oakland Raiders passed on drafting stud defensive lineman Lenoard Williams – will Williams have a little extra juice in the tank? The score cascaded to 28-6, and the game was pretty much over.
