Rainy workweek with sunny Veterans Day expected
Clouds will increase toward the evening and become cloudy overnight. Tonight, there’s a chance of rain with a low around 41.
For the start of our work week we will start to warm up to the 70s with on and off cloud cover and mild winds. However, the day will have a tendency to dry out with clouds breaking for a few Sunday. The back edge of this heavier rain shield has pushed through Tupelo, Mississippi, but we are still seeing rain development to the southwest that will lift northeast into West Alabama tonight. Temperatures on Friday will be in the middle 60s, by the weekend highs will be in the lower 60s.
On Friday, we start out with lots of sunshine. Then, you’ll notice more clouds in the afternoon skies.
This cold air really settles in on Saturday.
We have a chance of rain showers overnight from a rain maker on the east coast.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 63. The northern edge of this rain band will impact the area by tomorrow evening with showers possible through early Monday. It looks like we’re in store for off and on showers tomorrow.
An area of high pressure will start taking over our weather on Sunday.
Scattered showers will continue into Veteran’s Day on Wednesday, but should clear out after 8 a.m., becoming partly sunny with a high of 62 and a low of 48.
Rain is likely on Monday, with cooler than normal high temperatures. Highs will be in the middle 50s.
