Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 Certified By TENAA, Could Go Official Soon
Based on the model number, it was speculated that the device could be the successor to the Galaxy Golden flip phone. The device has now been certified by China’s TENAA, which means there are high chances of the smartphone going official soon.
The Samsung SM-W2016, thought to be the anticipated Galaxy Golden 3 flip phone smartphone, showed up in GFXBench benchmarks last month. According to TENAA, the flip features internal and external 3.9-inch screens, both with a 768 x 1280 resolution. There is a question about the screen size since GFXBench had it listed at 4.6-inches. Under the hood, the Galaxy Golden 3 will include the same Exynos 7420 2.1 GHz octa-core chip that powers the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy Note 5. On the software front, the smartphone will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, with the TouchWiz UX running on top.
The Galaxy Golden 3 weighs about 204 grams and measures 15.1mm in thickness, according to Phone Arena.
It was originally believed that the Samsung Galaxy A9 would be debuting with a 5.5-inch display but now, it seems that a few iterations have been made.
