Men: Apocalypse Photos – First Look at the Title Villain, Storm and Psylocke
Fassbender’s Magneto has a snazzy new costume (compare it to the relatively streamlined one he wore in X-Men: Days of Future Past) and a grumpy expression.
The threesome landed the latest cover of ‘EW, ‘ giving us the first look of the next film, ‘X-Men: Apocalypse.’.
Entertainment Weekly gets all the cool scoops for its cover features, and the upcoming issue is no exception with its look at X-Men: Apocalypse.
Bits of the cover story were revealed with the image, and along with it came new plot details.
Isaac continued to dish about his character, saying, “He’s believed to be the first mutant, whatever that means”. The article also describes how Apocalypse manages to recruit Storm and Psylocke very early on after recognizing the fact that he needs more soldiers to tackle the enormous undertaking of taking over all of civilization. Accoring to EW, Storm will be picked up in Cairo, Angel will be found in a Berlin fight club, Psylocke will be working behind the Iron Curtain for the mutant-tracking Caliban (Tómas Lemarquis), and Magneto will be with his lover in Poland.
Quicksilver (Evan Peters) Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) also make an appearance in the photos.
She finds Charles, who is teaching at his successful school for mutants. He’s teaching people how to control their abilities so that they can work at a bank. Magneto’s suit looks a bit more armored than usual, and most of the purple has been stripped from his color palette (in keeping with the previous two movies) – otherwise, it’s pretty much par for the course at this point. Munns Psylocke, in particular, looks like she stepped off of the pages of an X-Men comic book, and Apocalypse has far more of a daunting, Egyptian God look to him then what we briefly saw in the Comic-Con trailer.
