New Apple TV gets its first software update, tvOS 9.0.1
You can play Apple Music on Apple TV, but Siri has no clue what’s going on.
Apple recently confirmed that the Apple TV will get Siri support for Apple Music from the beginning of next year, and iDownloadBlog’s Jeff Benjamin found that it’s already present in the beta of tvOS 9.1.
In the video embedded in his post, Benjamin was able to queue up multiple Apple Music search queries for songs, artists, album, playlists and Beats 1, all without opening the Music app on Apple TV. Apple also recently seeded a beta version of tvOS 9.1 to developers for download and testing.
Main focus for the release was to fix bugs and improvise performance, instead of making major changes to the interface or to add extra features.
To manually check for updates open Settings and go to System Software Updates Update Software.
The fourth-gen Apple TV has the storage capacity of 32GB to 64GB with an A8 processor. Its first batch of delivery came out on October 30, 2015.
